The Council for Responsible Nutrition, a trade association for the dietary supplement and functional food industry, will be holding its annual events virtually in the fall this year.
 
The former in-person symposium event, “The Workshop: CRN’s Day of Science,” will now be taking place in two virtual half-day sessions, named “Science in Session,” taking place on Oct. 13 and 14, and “The Conference: CRN’s Annual Symposium for the Dietary Supplement Industry, which will be taking place from Oct. 14-16, comprising several partial-day sessions and networking events.
 
“Science in Session” will convene experts to discuss research challenges and opportunities for developing and utilizing public health recommendations around dietary supplements. CRN’s “Now, New, Next” will present a reimagined virtual experience with an enhanced interactive format. Both events will bring education content, conversations, and valuable networking that attendees have traditionally enjoyed, while taking advantage of the features only a virtual experience can offer.
 
“The broader world of events this year are giving CRN the opportunity to reimagine our annual industry-wide gatherings to keep our members and other stakeholders safe and to reach even more dietary supplement and functional food professionals through a virtual platform this year,” Steve Mister, CRN president and CEO, said. “Our team will optimize the virtual experience with an enhanced interactive format, incorporating new technologies and some fun new approaches to interacting with your industry colleagues. As always, we’re looking forward to digging into the most substantive and stimulating issues the industry is facing.”
 
Each of the events will have separate registration, as well as a package price option for those who wish to attend both. Discounts will be provided to both CRN members and early bird registrants through Aug. 31.
